In an attempt to woo Emma, Will invites her boyfreind, dentist Karl to talk to the glee clubbers about dental hygeine. After chewing gum that reveals plaque and cavities it is discovered that Brittany, Rachel and Artie need some serious work. When Brittany visits Karl, and while under anethesia has a dream of herself performing "I'm A Slave 4 U." The next day at glee, feeling more confident Brittany announces that she wants all of the solos much to Rachel's dismay. After hearing about her fantasy Santana makes Karl put her under anethesia with Britany so she can experinence what Brittany experienced. In a dream sequence the two perform "Me Against the Music." Rachel and Artie also experience dream sequences while at the dentist while Karl tells Will to loosen up and to kindly back away from Emma. Artie's is to "Stronger" while Rachel's is to "Hit Me Baby One More Time." In the last three sequences Britney Spears makes cameo appearances.
Meanwhile Finn is upset that he has been kicked off the football team, while Rachel is glad that he won't get injured or stray away, she also changes her look and starts to dress like Britney from her "Hit Me Baby" video. Will buys a car like Karl's to win Emma over but a run in with Terri ruined that. Coach Beiste hears Artie talking to Finn about his fantasy and place both of them on the team. In glee he says that Britney Spears is what got him the spot. Will then finally caved after a nearly a week or arguing about it with Jurt to do a Britney song at the assembly. Later on Sue catches Jacob doing innapropriate things to the videos and audio of Rachel and warns will. Along with Will the Glee club performs Toxic which results in a riot which Sue breaks up by pulling the fire alarm. At the end, Rachel goes back to her old clothes accepting that Finn is now back on the team after she tested his loyalty to her through Quinn. Rachel then sings "The Only Exception" by Paramore, returning to the week's original assignment, she dedicates it to Finn. The episode ends with Will watching Emma drive off with Karl.
All in all I LOVED this episode. Heather Morris proved that she has star quality and the dream sequences were amazing! The Britney cameos were awesome and we got to see John Stamos for the first time! I loved how they incorporated what Matt Morrison(who plays Will) said about not wanting to do Britney music on the show. I really applaud Coach Beiste for putting Artie on the team. She's letting him do something that he has been wanting to do. But the standout moment for me was Lea Michele's rendition of "You Are The Only Exception." It was so beautiful and full of emotion! Next week the episode is all about faith and tragedy hits the glee club. Until next week fellow Gleeks!
