Glee review:Grilled Cheesus

So I know that this is a week late but I got extremely busy. Moving on......

Last week's episode was a break from the usual comedic episode. Instead it was more on the heavier side. The episode revolves around the subject of faith once Kurt discovers that his dad has landed in the hospital due to a heart attack. Kurt says that he doesn't believe in God and Finn claims to see Jesus in a grilled cheese hence the episode name. While Finn prays to his "grilled cheesus" to grant him wishes, Mercedes takes Kurt to Church and Rachel sings a beautiful rendition of "Papa Can You Here Me." The episode ends with Finn eating his grilled chessus and the club performing an emotional version "One Of Us."

I'm not gonna lie, this episode brought a few tears to my eyes, it was filled with emotion from beginning to end.(we actually see a softer side of Sue in this episode) Chris Colfer gave a phenominal performance that was worthy of a second Emmy(and possibly Golden Globe) nod. Lea Michele's rendition of "Papa Can You Here Me" was absolutly stunning.(she deserves another Golden Globe and Emmy nod, and hopefully a win) The music selections were outstanding, I really enjoy listening to "One Of Us" during the day, such a great song. Next week duets with music from 'A Chorus Line" and a Barbra and Judy duet! YAY!!!! Till next time fellow gleeks!
