Glee review:The Rocky Horror Glee Show

Last nights episode of "Glee" was another tribute episode. It was the much anticipated Rocky Horror tribute! The episode opens with Santana's red lips singing "Science Fiction/Double Feature" and revolves around Will trying to impress Emma by having the glee club perform Rocky Horror once he learns of her new found love for the show thanks to Carl. Rachel and Finn are cast as Janet and Brad, Kurt as Riff Raf, Sam as Rocky, Mike as Franke-N-Furter, Artie as Dr.Scott, Santana, Quinn, Mercedes, Tina and Brittany will share the roles of Columbia and Magenta as they will be double casted. Sue steps in(shocker!) and as the school's director of the creative arts, will play the role of the criminologist and will also rewrite(oh boy!) parts of the script(mr.shue had already taken out the risque material). In order to get closer to Emma, will asks her to be the costume designer for the show who gladly accepts. Carl ends up getting the role of Eddie and Mike has to back out of the production when his parents refuse to sign the permission slip about performing the show that Mr.Shue had sent home earlier. Mercedes steps in and takes his place, while Finn feels uncomfortable about appering topless on stage and is comforted by Rachel. Will oversteps his boundaries with Emma after getting him to rehearse Touch-A-Touch-A-Me with him after deciding that the role of Rocky is too mature for a high school student to play. In the end, thanks to Sue who set him up, he realizes that the show is just too mature to be performed by high school students. The episode ends with the club singing "Time Warp!"

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! As a fan of the original Rocky Horror, this was a pretty exciting episode. I loved how the songs were performed throughout the show and how they were not always taking place on stage or in a rehearsal. They picked some awesome scenes from the show to reproduce and the costumes and hair and makeup were phenominal! They were so close to the original ones! The Finn and Rachel scene was so cute(I just love those two!) I also loved Sue's bit on Sue's corner about how we have lost the true meaning of Halloween;fear! Another awesome episode Glee, now where can I get a Sue Sylvester pumpkin like in the epsiode! In two weeks; Puck comes back,(watch out Sam!) what looks to ba boys vs.girls sing off and Kurt might change schools. Till next time fellow gleeks!
